An education at Abington Christian Academy is much more than a collection of mandated “subjects” studied in isolation from each other. Our students soon understand that they and their teachers are a community of learners with a common purpose, a purpose that explores what it means – even as children – to live full and meaningful lives. Because our educational philosophy holds language as supremely important, we regard each class as a conversation going on between students and their teachers. This conversation not only guides the study of every subject, but also nurtures a happy environment where students can ask their teachers questions, and where teachers ask questions of their students. In such an atmosphere they can together enter a place where ideas from all subjects combine to form a coherent picture of the world.
