Our full day Kindergarten program builds upon the strong foundation laid in PreK 3 and 4. Using Grammar Stage methods of memorization, recitation, imagination, repetition, and hands-on exploration, our students actively grow in every area.
Students continue to develop their understanding of who God says He is, and grow in their responses to Him and His Truth. Through daily structured phonics and phonemic awareness lessons students master word attack and spelling skills. Reading instruction develops vocabulary, comprehension, and fluency. Beginning grammar skills are learned through jingles and practiced in class. Math skills and understanding are sharpened while basic facts are drilled and used.
Our full day program allows for enjoyable lessons and experiences with science, music, art, and physical education. Social learning focuses on classroom interactions as well as learning about the students’ communities, country, and world.
